Dr. Shane Roche is a Consultant in General (Internal) Medicine, whose current post is Imperial College Healthcare Trust. His areas of specialism include geriatric and general medicine, stroke, dizzy spells, falls, frailty and rehabilitation and dementia and memory impairment. He has many areas of clinical interest and is trained to treat patients with complex needs, he is recommended to treat older patients. Dr. Roche has over 20 years' experience. His aim is to achieve a smooth patient pathway and he is thus very efficient in communicating very quickly with GPs and other healthcare professionals, resulting in successful treatment.
Dr. Roche qualified as a doctor in Dublin in 1980 and moved to London in 1985 to complete his training at Charing Cross, St Mary’s Hospital and Central Middlesex. He currently works under the Imperial College Healthcare Trust, as well as leading a Community Rehabilitation unit for the elderly. As an active member of the research community, he has authored numerous published articles, on Parkinson’s and Dementia in particular.
