Dr Sarah Panjwani is a General and Developmental Paediatrician with over 16 years of experience in paediatrics. Her NHS base is Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, and she also sees patients privately at The Portland Hospital. She assesses and treats children of all ages, with particular interests in autism, developmental delay, child development, behavioural concerns, disability, ADHD, fussy eating, toileting and constipation, and sleep problems, and she has established a dedicated service for children with sleep disorders.
Dr Panjwani graduated from King’s College School of Medicine and holds a Master’s degree in Child Health with distinction from the University of Warwick. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and completed her paediatric training at leading centres including Manchester Children’s Hospital and Alder Hey in Liverpool. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London.
Dr Panjwani has undertaken research into stem cell treatments for neurological disease at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, and was named Young Investigator of the Year for her research into medication use in paediatric Crohn’s disease and colitis. Her work has been published and presented at national and international conferences, and she has received a Clinical Excellence Award in recognition of her contribution to child health.
