Dr Matin received her medical degree from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, University of London in 2001. During this time she completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with Basic Medical Sciences achieving a First Class. She undertook her general medical training in University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation where she achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004 before completing her specialist training in Dermatology in the Oxford Deanery.
At Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust she leads the specialist Transplant / Immunosuppressed clinic and provides a dedicated Dermatology service to the Bone Marrow Transplant clinic which is the first of its kind in the UK. She has a specialist interest in cutaneous oncology and works very closely with leading Haematologists and Oncologists.
