Robert Yates

Dr. Robert Yates is a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatric and Fetal Cardiology. Dr. Yates looks after children with heart conditions, providing care from the fetal period through to adulthood. He is particularly interested in diagnosing heart disease before birth and using keyhole techniques to treat children's heart problems. Dr. Yates undertook his undergraduate medical training in South Africa, graduating in Johannesburg before coming to the UK in 1989. After basic training in Paediatrics, his postgraduate training in Paediatric Cardiology was undertaken in London, gaining his CCST in 1996. Dr. Yates' exceptional training and compassionate approach allow him to provide the best treatment available in paediatric medicine and care.
