Dr Richard Levy is a leading Consultant Cardiologist with a sub-speciality in Interventional Cardiology. The experienced physician provides first-class care with HCA Healthcare and held an NHS post at Wythenshawe Hospital (MFT).
The renowned doctor graduated from St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London in 1978 with a Medical Degree before completing his specialist cardiology training at University College London, The Middlesex, The National Heart and St Bartholomews Hospitals. He was appointed Consultant in 1993 at Wythenshawe Hospital and was Director of Cardiology from 2001-2006. While here he was worked on the Greater Machester and Cheshire Cardiac Network, where he reconfigured cardiac services and was responsible for the service improvement. He was appointed as the National Clinical Lead for the Heart Improvement Programme to redesign the management of interhospital transfers, angina and percutaneous intervention, along with being a member of the Department of Health Clinical Advisory Group. Dr Levy was heavily involved in research and was a finalist in the British Cardiac Society's Young Investor Prize. He is accredited in general medicine and cardiology.
When not at work, Dr Levy enjoys spending time with his family. He keeps active by playing tennis, skiing, motoring and bridge.
