Dr Becky Bayele is a consultant paediatrician specialising in paediatric neurodisability, community paediatrics and epilepsy, based in North and West London. With over 12 years of experience, Dr Bayele has held several senior positions, including being the Lead for Lambeth Autism & Neuro-disability diagnostic service (LANDS), Lead for Tower Hamlets Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Service (ASDAS), and neurodisability lead for British Forces Germany Health Service (BFG) as a visiting consultant across several regions under Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from 2011-14.
Dr Bayele is known for providing expert care and advice backed by her extensive experience in paediatrics, neurodisability and epilepsy, making her a trusted choice for hundreds of people in the UK. Her typical patients are children with delays in their development (e.g. communication and motor skills), suspected autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, paediatric epilepsy, and other complex neurodisabilities. She also has special interests in childhood autism and developmental assessments for children born premature and/or with chromosome or brain abnormalities.
Dr Bayele practices at several private hospitals and clinics, including BMI The Cavell Hospital, BMI The Kings Oak Hospital, Chiswick Medical Centre, and The Portland Hospital, as well as the NHS practice at Barnet, Enfield, Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (EN2 0JB). She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, British Academy of Childhood Disability, and International League Against Epilepsy.
Dr Bayele received her medical degree from Minsk Medical Institute in 1995 and obtained her MRCPCH in 2012 from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She also has a PGC in epilepsy. Currently, she is a practising consultant paediatrician in neurodisability at Barnet, Enfield Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and leads the Complex Neurodisability team. She also served as the lead for Chronic childhood Epilepsy services for Barnet/Enfield under the Royal Free Hospital for over six years. In addition, Dr Bayele led the neurodisability service in the Outpatient private wing at Great Ormond Street Hospital from 2020-21.
