Professor Raffaele Califano is a Consultant Medical Oncologist with expertise in non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and mesothelioma. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery, summa cum laude, from the University of Perugia, Italy, in 2003, and completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology, summa cum laude, in 2007. Professor Califano is an investigator for clinical trials in lung cancer and mesothelioma, with a particular interest in molecularly driven clinical trials and immunotherapy. He is the author of several papers published in indexed peer-reviewed international journals and has been an invited speaker at several national and international oncology meetings.
