Dr Punam Pabari is a consultant cardiologist with appointments in both the private and NHS sectors. She practises at The Harley Street Clinic and works within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where she sees patients at Hammersmith Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital. Her clinical work spans general and specialist cardiology, supported by advanced expertise in cardiac imaging.
She qualified in medicine from the University of Bristol in 2003 and completed her postgraduate cardiology training through the North West London cardiology programme, with training posts based primarily at Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital. Her academic training includes a doctoral degree awarded by Imperial College London in 2012, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital between 2014 and 2015. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Pabari’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of heart failure, valvular heart disease and a broad range of general cardiology conditions. A significant component of her practice is dedicated to advanced cardiac imaging, encompassing transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac computed tomography.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Pabari maintains active professional engagement through membership of specialist societies, including the British Society of Echocardiography, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
