Dr. Miele has twenty years of experience in women's mental health, with a clinical background in obstetrics and gynaecology and a research background in neuroscience. She is an accredited infant mental health practitioner and has been a consultant in perinatal psychiatry. Dr. Miele chaired the North West London Perinatal Mental Health Network (NHSE) and contributed to the development of specialist perinatal mental health services across London. She trained in infant mental health with Dr. PO Svanberg and is an accredited trainer for the Parent Infant Interaction Observation Scale course at Warwick University Medical School. Dr. Miele is actively involved in research and training programs to raise awareness and improve clinical skills in perinatal and infant mental health care. Her expertise includes perinatal psychiatry, infant mental health, women's mental health, and perinatal mental illness.
