Dr. Garcez is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and the clinical lead for thyroid cancer. She provides comprehensive treatment for thyroid cancer using a combination of radioiodine, radiotherapy, and systemic therapy with targeted agents and chemotherapy. Dr. Garcez also treats patients with head and neck cancer using radiotherapy and chemotherapy. She graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff in 1998 and completed her general medical training in South Wales. She continued her specialty training in Clinical Oncology at Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff, and later joined The Christie in Manchester as a Consultant in 2014. Her expertise includes radioiodine therapy, radiotherapy, and systemic therapies for thyroid and head and neck cancers.
