Karim Kassam

Mr Kassam has extensive training in the speciality of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in UK and Europe. His medical degree was undertaken at St George's Hospital and he has a dental degree from Kings College London. He holds a fellowships in postgraduate dentistry from England & Ireland, as well as general surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery ( FRCS OMFS ) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His UK higher surgical training was completed on the North East Thames Rotation in internationally renowned units including The Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street and University College London Hospital.

He has completed Fellowship courses attended in Europe ( part of European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Dentistry ) and Diploma Courses in Head & Neck Reconstruction undertaken (University of Barcelona). Mr Kassam is an NHS and Private Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon treating the full scope of general Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a specialist interest in head & neck oncology , facial skin cancers and salivary gland disease. He sits on the Private Head & Neck MDT at The Harley Street Clinic, and is a core member of NHS Head & Neck & Skin MDT James Cook Hospital. He has a further specialist interest in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and one of the few surgeons in the UK trained in TMJ arthroscopy (keyhole) surgery and TMJ replacement (Jaw Joint Replacement).

Mr Kassam offers all routine and complex Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to paediatric and adult patients and is also fully trained in non-surgical and cosmetic facial surgery including face lifting, neck lifting, blepharoplasty, brow lifting, hair line lowering , forehead reduction and hair transplantation. Rhinoplasty (Nose reshaping) and Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship completed in Rome, Italy.
