Dr. Tomson is a consultant cardiologist with interests in cardiac rhythm management, implantation of cardiac devices (including pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronization therapy), palpitations, dizziness, loss of consciousness (syncope), and the treatment of cardiac dysfunction. He qualified in 1999 (MBBS) and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London) in 2004. He completed higher specialist training in cardiology (CCT Cardiology, UK) in 2015 and undertook cardiovascular research at the Clinical Trials and Statistics Service Unit (CTSU, University of Oxford), completing his research thesis there (MD, 2016).Dr. Tomson specializes in managing cardiac arrhythmia, syncope, dizziness, breathlessness, and cardiac dysfunction. He conducts cardiac procedures including implantation of cardiac devices, pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. He is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at University College London Medical School and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London. His clinical expertise includes cardiac devices, pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, coronary angiography, echocardiography, and the treatment of arrhythmias.
