About

Dr Gillian Ostrowski is a General Practitioner with more than two decades of experience working across NHS and independent healthcare settings. Her practice emphasises preventative medicine, timely investigation of symptoms, and sustained health management through evidence based clinical care.

She graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 1999 and completed postgraduate training in London at major teaching institutions including Guy’s and St Thomas’, University College London Hospital, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. By 2007, she had become a Principal GP Partner within a large central London training practice, combining direct patient care with leadership and service development responsibilities.

In parallel with her NHS career, Dr Ostrowski has worked in private practice in Central London since 2006, establishing close professional links with consultants and specialists across a wide range of disciplines. Her postgraduate training includes qualifications in general practice, paediatrics, gynaecology, reproductive and sexual health, and occupational medicine. She is a Fellow of the Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh and has held senior leadership positions, including Associate Medical Director roles within Wandsworth Primary Care Trust and NHS England South London.

Her professional responsibilities extend beyond clinical consultations. She works as a GP Appraiser and Medical Examiner and contributes to medical education as part of the examination team at City St George’s, University of London. She has also founded a private diagnostics service and has served as a trustee of the Pregnancy Sickness Society.

Dr Ostrowski’s clinical interests include comprehensive women’s health care, covering menopause management, contraception, intrauterine device insertion, gynaecological care and obstetric support. She provides medical care for children and adolescents, supports lifestyle and preventative health strategies, and advises on metabolic health and structured weight management. She also manages a variety of dermatological conditions within primary care. She offers ongoing care for individuals and families, integrating coordinated referrals where specialist input is required.
