About
Dr. Fu Siong Ng is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist with extensive expertise in cardiac electrophysiology and heart rhythm disorders. He qualified with distinctions from St. George's, University of London, and trained in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Hammersmith and St. Mary's Hospitals. He obtained his PhD from Imperial College London and spent a year doing a postdoc at Washington University in Saint Louis, USA. Dr. Ng is accredited as a Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist by the European Heart Rhythm Association and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He performs catheter ablation procedures for a range of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardias, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and ventricular ectopy/tachycardia, as well as implants implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders, and biventricular pacemakers (CRT). Dr. Ng is actively involved in clinical research focusing on understanding complex arrhythmia mechanisms and developing new technologies and treatments to improve patient outcomes. His areas of expertise include ECG, invasive catheter ablation procedures, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and coronary artery disease.
