Daniel Glass is a UK trained specialist Consultant Dermatologist. After qualifying at the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1999, he completed his postgraduate medical training in London. He has specialised in Dermatology for over 15 years and is happy to consult regarding all of your family’s skin care needs.
Dr Glass see's private patients in Harley Street, the Wellington Hospital and the Clemetine Churchill Hospital. He is a Consultant Dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and Honorary Consultant Dermatologist to the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Previously Dr Glass was Dermatology clinical lead and skin cancer lead at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
Patients throughout London consult with Dr Glass on all their skin care concerns, including acne, skin cancer, mole checks, psoriasis, eczema and rashes. He performs skin surgery and mole evaluations on a regular basis, including for removal of benign lesions that may not be covered by the NHS and insurance companies. He also provides treatment options for excessive sweating and keloid scars.
Since 1993, Dr Glass has been actively involved in skin care research. He draws on the research he conducted on skin ageing and the genetics of melanoma development to enhance his clinical practice. His research has been supported by grants from the European Union and The Wellcome trust, and Dr Glass was awarded a prestigious MRC research fellowship. The research he undertook on skin ageing led to a PhD being awarded from King's College London which has resulted in invitations to speak at international dermatology conferences. Dr Glass’ contribution to several book chapters and authorship of multiple publications in high impact medicial journals attest to his international credentials.
Dr Glass served as a Clinical Research Fellow at King’s College London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London, teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students. He was a Dermatology Representative on the London Cancer Alliance, and is dedicated to improving outcomes in skin cancer.
