Dr Carla Cordivari has been a specialist neurologist since 1998 and a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology since 2002 at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Dr Carla Cordivari obtained her medical degree in Bologna, Italy.
She performs and interprets the neurophysiology of the nerve and muscle (NCS and EMG) for the diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy, focal nerve entrapments, radiculopathies, myopathy and neuromuscular transmission disorder.
Dr Cordivari runs a parallel joint clinic with orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, neurologists and diabetologists. She is specialised in the use of EMG guidance for cosmetic injection treatment for spasticity, dystonia and tremor. She has a special interest in the neurophysiology of involuntary movement disorders as tremor, jerks and rigidity. She has undertaken research in the neurophysiology and treatment of movement disorders.
