Dr Anna Pallecaros is a specialist in genitourinary medicine, providing assessment, advice, and treatment for men, women, and couples with a focus on timely, effective, and confidential care. Her practice is grounded in careful listening and collaborative decision-making, ensuring patients are treated with respect, discretion, and clarity throughout their care.
Dr Pallecaros qualified in medicine at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School and was awarded a Wellcome Scholarship to complete an additional degree in the History of Medicine. She has undertaken advanced training in vaginal microscopy, including completion of an international course in the microscopy and diagnosis of vulvovaginitis, and successfully passed formal examinations in this area. She is also a founding member of the International Society for Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
A senior consultant, Dr Pallecaros' clinical background includes specialist work in genitourinary medicine and HIV at leading hospitals and has held a number of leadership roles within young people San women’s health services.
Her areas of expertise include vaginal microscopy, cervical screening, HPV vaccination (Gardasil), sexual health counselling, and the diagnosis and management of vaginal and penile conditions.
Outside her clinical work, Dr Pallecaros has a strong interest in art, music, and yoga.
