Dr Alain Palacci has been a strong member of the General Practice profession for many years. After qualifying from St Thomas’ in 1986 with a MBBS and following six years of intensive hospital medicine, he has been based in Barnes most of his working life, building up a very successful private practice based on the philosophy that the patient comes first. His main interests are paediatrics and general medicine, and has a keen interest in diabetes, men’s health and paediatrics.

Dr Palacci is a French speaker and has worked in the past as a government advisor and as the medical practitioner for the Lawn Tennis Association. He works very closely with Dr Alexandra Strachan to provide a 24-hours a day, seven days a week service to our registered patients, based on a common ethos of providing continuity of care.

Dr Palacci lives locally with his wife and dog. Although his children have now flown the nest, he is often seen on family walks around Richmond Park.
