About

Dr Ahmed Massoud is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist working in both NHS and private practice in London, based at Northwick Park Hospital. His clinical interests include general paediatrics, growth disorders, thyroid disease, pubertal disorders, and childhood diabetes.

He completed his medical degree at University College London before undertaking training in General Paediatrics. Dr Massoud then completed sub-specialist training in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at The Middlesex Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He also undertook postgraduate general professional training in paediatrics across several London teaching hospitals and holds the role of Clinical Research Fellow in Paediatric Endocrinology at The Middlesex Hospital.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Massoud serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Child Health at Imperial College School of Medicine. He has contributed chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles within the field of paediatric endocrinology. He is the immediate past Chair of the RCPCH Specialty Advisory Committee for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.

His areas of specialist practice include paediatric endocrinology, paediatric diabetes, diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, pubertal problems, and thyroid disorders.
