Dr Cormac Magee is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and sees private patients at The London Digestive Centre and The Princess Grace Hospital. He works in the Intestinal Failure and Nutrition Team at UCLH. Cormac sees patients in his NHS and private practice with a wide range of gastroenterological conditions including intestinal failure, weight loss, bloating, diarrhoea, reflux, constipation, abdominal pain and iron deficiency anaemia.
Dr Magee is a JETS approved trainer in colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy. He is committed to excellent care, expertise and clear communication with patients. He has a specialist interest in the management of patients living with obesity and diabetes, particularly in novel endoscopic metabolic therapies, and those with the complications of bariatric surgery.
Dr Magee has published extensively in the fields of Upper GI Therapeutic Endoscopy and Obesity He is also involved in teaching at UCL including helping to run the Nutrition MSc, and has been involved in multiple live endoscopy courses both in the UK and internationally. Dr Magee is a clinical adviser to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. He is frequently asked to comment on gastrointestinal disorders in the national press.
