Dr Claire Agathou is a co-founder of the A-Z General Practice at The Wellington Hospital in London, part of HCA Healthcare UK. This state-of-the-art centre located in St John’s Wood, offers patients comprehensive access to on-site services, including blood tests, investigations, advanced imaging and immediate referrals to world-class specialists. Her NHS practice is based in Fitzrovia in the heart of Central London.

She is a compassionate, highly respected and accomplished family physician, with 14 years of clinical experience, who has built a strong reputation for her patient-centred approach and dedication to excellence in care.

Dr Agathou qualified in 2011, completing her specialist training at The Royal Free Hospital in London and has vast expertise across a wide range of specialties, including paediatric and neonatal care, neurology and stroke medicine, dermatology, infectious and genitourinary diseases, women’s health, breast, urology, hepatobiliary and colorectal surgery. She has an extended interest in acute and emergency medicine, and this has equipped her to provide comprehensive, nuanced care for patients of all ages.

In addition, she serves as the Named Doctor for child safeguarding for the borough of Camden, underscoring her commitment to the wellbeing of some of the community's most vulnerable members.
