About
Charlotte is a Registered Integrative Psychotherapist with a background in forensic psychology. Charlotte has over 10 years’ experience in the health and social care sector, including supporting women with substance use, histories of domestic abuse, and sexual violence.
Since qualifying as a psychotherapist in 2019, Charlotte’s approach focuses on collaborative, client-led therapy to navigate life's challenges, changes, losses, and relationships. She is particularly interested in the mind-body connection and how stress can be stored in the body. Charlotte uses a range of therapeutic tools to fit individual needs and goals. Accordingly, she draws on approaches and ideas from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Person-Centred therapy and Psychodynamic therapy.
