Dr. Bobby Dasari is a highly skilled Consultant HPB (HepatoPancreatoBiliary) and Liver Transplant Surgeon with extensive experience in complex surgical procedures. He completed his specialist surgical training in the United Kingdom, obtaining his CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in 2014. Prior to this, he underwent surgical training in India and served as an Assistant Professor in Surgery at esteemed medical colleges.
During his training, Dr. Dasari gained valuable experience in high-volume general surgery and received specialised training in some of the leading units in HPB, Vascular Surgery, and Intestinal failure surgery. He furthered his expertise through fellowships in complex Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery, as well as Liver Transplantation at prestigious institutions in Birmingham and Leeds. Additionally, he completed visiting fellowships at renowned medical centres in Seoul, South Korea, including Asan Medical Centre and Yonsei University.
Currently, Dr. Dasari holds the position of Consultant Liver Transplant and HPB Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK. In this role, he specialises in complex HepatoBiliary and Pancreatic surgery, Liver Transplantation, and advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Birmingham, UK.
Dr. Dasari also contributes to private practice, offering his services at the Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. Additionally, he provides Expert Witness reports in medico-legal matters, drawing on his vast experience and knowledge in the field.
Passionate about research, Dr. Dasari has contributed significantly to medical literature with over 120 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and digital media.
