About

Dr Archana Ranganathan is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine Specialist with over 15 years of experience across both the NHS and independent sector. She completed Advanced Training in Reproductive Medicine and Subfertility within the Oxford Deanery. During her training at Oxford, she also undertook further research in endometriosis and exploring pain pathways.

Following completion of her training, she joined Create Fertility as consultant and then served as the Clinical Lead for CREATE Fertility’s St Paul’s branch for six years until August 2025.

She has extensive experience in fertility care spanning from ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI) to IVF and ICSI, fertility preservation, donor conception, surrogacy and the management of complex fertility challenges. She is proficient with all stimulation regimes including conventional IVF and has specialist expertise in selective use of mild stimulation and natural cycle IVF for those who may benefit from a more individualised, lower-medication approach to treatment. She also has expertise in advanced gynaecology and fertility ultrasound including doppler studies, which she uses within fertility care to support assessment, treatment planning and improve outcomes

Alongside fertility treatment, Dr Ranganathan has broad experience in general gynaecology, including menstrual disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause and early pregnancy asessment.

She is known for her calm, compassionate and personalised approach, ensuring patients feel informed, supported and involved throughout their care. She is committed to providing inclusive and respectful care to all patients, including LGBTQ+ individuals, couples and diverse family structures.

She is currently also doing Masters in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and improving women’s health outcomes on a wider scale.
