Miss Anna Panagiotidou is a Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, known for her expertise in peripheral nerve injuries. Anna sees her private patients at The Wellington Hospital Outpatients, part of HCA Healthcare UK.
She graduated from UCL Medical School in 2006, having completed an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology with honours in 2004. Specializing in Trauma and Orthopaedics through the UCLH Specialist Training Program, she earned a PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery from UCL in 2018 after successfully defending her thesis.
Her postdoctoral journey included a distinguished fellowship at the renowned Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit, culminating in her consultant role. As the current department Clinical Lead, Anna is dedicated in advancing research and education in this specialized field. She serves as an Academic and Educational Supervisor for the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons, and her dedication to medical education has earned her consecutive nominations as Trainee of the Year.
Outside of work, Anna is passionate about cooking and enjoys entertaining friends. She also loves playing tennis and participates in marathon running, reflecting her commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
