Dr Anna Nuttall is an experienced and highly qualified Rheumatologist. She completed her medical training with distinction, studying pre-clinical medicine at Oxford and clinical medicine at Imperial College London. She later undertook specialist rheumatology training in London and went on to complete an MD (Research) at University College London, focusing her academic work at the Royal Free Hospital Scleroderma Centre. She currently works as a consultant and clinical lead at the Whittington Hospital.
Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of rheumatological conditions. These include osteoporosis; inflammatory arthritides such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis; connective tissue diseases including lupus, vasculitis, and myositis; as well as Raynaud’s phenomenon and gout. She also has extensive experience in metabolic bone disorders like osteoporosis and collagen-related conditions such as hypermobility spectrum disorders and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. In addition, she manages conditions such as polymyalgia rheumatica and other general rheumatological diseases.
Dr Nuttall is recognised for her clear communication style and patient-centred approach, providing thorough and compassionate care tailored to individual needs. She speaks both English and Russian, enabling her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. Her dedication to improving rheumatology services and patient outcomes has made her a respected member of her field.
