Alexander Cho

Mr Alexander Cho is a highly skilled and extremely reputable consultant paediatric urologist who specialises in paediatric urology. His main areas of expertise include urinary tract infections, undescended testicle, foreskin problems, bladder problems, wetting, urinary reflux, as well as hydronephrosis, amongst many other urological conditions that affect children.

Mr Cho’s current NHS base is Great Ormond Street Hospital, undertook his specialist paediatric surgical training in 2014 at various established locations across London, Liverpool, Manchester, and Norwich. He had earlier successfully completed an MBBS at Guy's, King's & St Thomas' Medical School, London, in 2004, which was followed by him then going on to obtain a master's degree in Medical Education from the Royal College of Physicians and University College London in 2014.

Mr Cho has, thus far in his medical career, gained a vast amount of experience in relation to performing not only open surgery, but also keyhole surgery and endourology (minimally invasive urologic) surgery. He also possesses quite the passion for teaching, as his current role as joint royal college tutor at the Great Ormond Street Hospital suggests. Impressively, he has been awarded a whole host of prestigious awards to-date, including being presented with the Surgical Registrar of the Year Award by the Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2018
