Dr. Aicha Bouraoui is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Divisional Medical Information Officer at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, where she also leads the Early Inflammatory Arthritis service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She holds an Honorary Consultant role in Adolescent Rheumatology at UCLH.
With specialist training in London and the East of England, her interests span clinical leadership, population health, and quality improvement. She completed a Darzi Fellowship in Clinical Leadership and a coaching fellowship at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
Dr. Bouraoui leads Pathway to Equity, an award winning and Health Foundation-funded programme focused on reducing non-attendance among young people in rheumatology care. She is an Adolescent Health Advisor to the CSAC at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and a content advisor for RCP improvement program, the Royal College of Physicians.
An accredited health coach and advocate for personalised care, she is passionate about empowering clients to manage long-term conditions through person-centred approaches.
