Miss Kiren Gill is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Whittington Health NHS Trust.
She is an experienced gynaecologist with a specialist interest in urogynaecology, the pelvic floor, recurrent and chronic urinary tract infection (UTI). She sees patients with problems with prolapse, lower urinary tract symptoms including incontinence, urogenital symptoms of the menopause and also general gynecological concerns. Miss Gill has an academic interest in recurrent and chronic UTI and is an Associate Honorary Professor in the Institute of Women’s health at UCL.
Miss Gill is a kind and compassionate Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a broad range of experience in the diagnosis and management of gynaecological problems including periods, menopause, pelvic floor problems after child birth, prolapse of the vagina/uterus (surgical and non surgical), urinary incontinence, recurrent and chronic UTI.
Miss Gill works as a Consultant in the tertiary specialist Chronic UTI (LUTS) service at the Whittington NHS Hospital which is supported by a translational research programme. Patients with symptoms of recurrent and chronic UTI are offered patient centered and holistic treatment plans. Miss Gill is an expert within this area and is actively involved in research exploring the pathophysiology of chronic UTI, treatment options and diagnostic methods with the Bladder Infection and Immunity Group (BIIG) at UCL and Royal Free.
Miss Gill completed her MBBS, BSc and PhD from University College London (UCL) and has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2016. She has an academic interest in recurrent and chronic UTI having completed her PhD at UCL under the supervision of the Late Professor Malone-Lee. Miss Gill trained with Professor Malone Lee in the management of chronic UTI and continues to be involved
in leading research within this area as an Associate Honorary Professor in the Institute of Women’s health at UCL.
Miss Gill is a member of the Research Committee for the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) and a member of the Scientific Committee for the International Association of Urogynaecology (IUGA). She has also been the rotating chair of the National Complex UTI MDT.
