Afrina Alam

Dr. Alam was awarded the Gold Medal at Guy's and St. Thomas' Medical School for placing first in MBBS finals. She completed her postgraduate training in general medicine at The Royal Brompton, Imperial College, and St. George's, and her Dermatology specialist training at St. John's Institute of Dermatology, Chelsea & Westminster, St. Mary's, and Imperial College London. Dr. Alam completed a PhD with award-winning research in genetic skin conditions. She is an Imperial lead for medical student teaching and has been awarded a commendation for teaching excellence. Dr. Alam specializes in treating adult and paediatric skin, hair, and nail conditions, including acne, skin allergy testing, eczema, cryotherapy for viral warts and verrucas, psoriasis, fungal infections, skin tags, cysts, mole checks, skin cancer surgery, skin peels, cosmetic procedures, skin pigmentation disorders, and alopecia.
