Dr Sachin Khambadkone completed his education in India and is a Paediatric Cardiology Consultant. He has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 1997. He has various training in general paediatrics, neonatology and paediatric cardiology. He is the Clinical Lead for Transition in Cardiology and has set up a clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital where he treats teenage patients.

He is an Interventional Cardiologist and was a team leader for introducing the percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation technique of performing valve replacement without open-heart surgery. Khambadkone is also an expert in advanced imaging techniques.
