Based at the Platinum Medical Centre, The Wellington Hospital Outpatients is the largest private outpatient centre in the UK and we see more than 30,000 patients each year. Whether you need fast access to a GP or a consultant, we can help. Our centre brings together leading specialists, the latest diagnostic technologies and day surgeries all under one roof.
Our expertise spans a wide range of services, including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive, oncology and women's health care. Our dedicated Breast Care Unit offers comprehensive breast assessments, including a One-Stop Breast Clinic. This rapid-access consultant-led service provides screening and results in a single visit.
We offer a wide range of diagnostic imaging, including PET-CT, MRI and ultrasound scans, as well as a walk-in X-ray service. Our centre also has a 10-bed day surgery centre with four operating theatres.

We do not have a car park, but there is on-street metered parking available on the surrounding roads. There is also a multi-storey car park in St John’s Wood and one in Maida Vale.
The Wellington Hospital runs a patient shuttle bus between its four main buildings and you can access this service at any of our main receptions.

The last appointment is at 7.30pm. All appointments need to be booked in advance.
We have an Urgent Care Centre at the South Building of The Wellington Hospital. Alternatively, the closest A&E departments are at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead or St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

Yes. we provide rapid access to private GPs, with same-day and next-day appointments available. Our GP service includes:

We have a dedicated breast unit that provides a comprehensive breast care service for those experiencing symptomatic breast problems. We also provide a screening service for asymptomatic (no symptoms) patients and for women who have a family history of cancer.
The unit is home to our One-Stop Breast Clinic. This is a rapid access, consultant-led service, where your breast concerns can be investigated using the very latest digital mammography, clinically appropriate imaging can be undertaken and results can be given, all in a single visit.
Our specialist team diagnose and treat benign and malignant breast diseases. We also offer the full range of breast reconstruction options.
We’re able to offer same-day appointments Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm, with some evening appointments also available.

Yes, we have a fully equipped day surgery centre with four theatres and 10 beds should you require a short hospital stay for a procedure. Our expert teams provide treatment for a range of specialties, including orthopaedics, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), ophthalmology, dermatology and general surgery.
At our centre, we can provide access to some of the consultant orthopaedic services that are based The Wellington Hospital. These include:
- Spinal
- Foot and ankle
- Knee
- Hip and pelvis
- Shoulder
- Hand and elbow
We do not offer these at our campus. However, they are available at the Wellington North Building at 27 Circus Road, a 10-minute walk from our outpatients’ centre.
