Dr. Jurjees Hasan is a consultant medical oncologist with subspecialty interests in gynaecological malignancies, colorectal cancer, and carcinoma of the unknown primary site. He leads the medical oncology service for gynaecological malignancies and has developed a chemotherapy service for colorectal cancers. Dr. Hasan has served as principal investigator in phase II and phase III studies of ovarian and colorectal cancer and in investigator-led studies. His work includes translational research into new strategies for managing malignant bowel obstruction, tumour angiogenesis, and the development of anti-angiogenic therapies for cancer. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international oncology meetings. His areas of expertise include gynaecological oncology, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer, and carcinoma of unknown primary.
