Your consultant will discuss your diagnosis with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of cancer experts, whose goal will be to ensure that all treatment options are fully considered. Our teams include specialists in oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and other specialist areas of cancer treatment depending on your personal needs, all working together to recommend the most effective treatment plan for you.
Working closely with your chosen consultant, you will receive the dedicated support of a named Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). CNSs are expert nurses who specialise in specific types of cancer and cancer treatments. They will be your main point of contact and will help guide you through your diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care.
