Putting you at the centre of your care

No two people are the same, and neither is their experience of cancer. At HCA Healthcare UK we know that excellence in cancer care is more than providing the most effective treatment, it’s caring for you as a whole person. That’s why our commitment goes beyond your diagnosis, to focus on you and everything that matters to you, making sure you feel heard and supported at all times.

You can choose your preferred consultant who will lead and oversee every aspect of your care. If you aren’t sure which consultant you need to see, our team can help find an expert that’s right for you.

Your consultant will discuss your diagnosis with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of cancer experts, whose goal will be to ensure that all treatment options are fully considered. Our teams include specialists in oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and other specialist areas of cancer treatment depending on your personal needs, all working together to recommend the most effective treatment plan for you.
Working closely with your chosen consultant you will receive the dedicated support of a named Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). CNSs are expert nurses who specialise in specific types of cancer and cancer treatments. They will be your main point of contact and will help guide you through your diagnosis, treatment and follow up care.
