Mr. Roland Walker is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon renowned for his expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and ankle disorders.
Mr. Walker has held the position of Teaching Hospital specialist at Guys and St Thomas’ since 2015. During this time, he has developed an extensive tertiary elective practice, specialising in the management of complex foot and ankle injuries, arthritis, neuromuscular deformities, as well as common conditions such as bunions and toe deformities.
His particular area of focus lies in ankle replacement and the revision of failing implants. Notably, Mr. Walker is part of a network of esteemed UK surgeons at the forefront of pioneering 3D printed patient-customised implants. This innovation plays a crucial role in addressing challenging cases and improving patient outcomes.
Beyond his clinical practice, Mr. Walker is dedicated to education and training. He takes great pleasure in mentoring Fellows and Registrars, contributing to their professional growth. He is the driving force behind a highly acclaimed Foot and Ankle Cadaveric Surgery course and also imparts his knowledge through teaching on various courses and faculties.
