Mr Hani Abdul-Jabar is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Mr Abdul-Jabar obtained his medical degree with distinction in 2004, from Imperial College School of Medicine in London. After graduating, he remained in London and undertook specialty training as part of the Northwest Thames Orthopaedic Rotation. In 2015, he received a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He took his training a step further in the Hip Unit at Guys' Hospital in London, where he was later awarded a travelling fellowship to Toronto, Canada, and a visiting fellowship to Pretoria, South Africa, from the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA). Mr Abdul-Jabar took up a post as Consultant Hip & Knee Surgeon at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust in 2017.
Passionate about postgraduate education and sharing his surgical expertise, Mr Abdul-Jabar is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and regularly speaks at a number of regional and national teaching courses in the field of orthopaedics. In addition, he is the Deputy Training Programme Director for Higher Orthopaedics as part of the London Northwest Thames Trauma and Orthopaedics Rotation.
Outside of work you can often find him running, playing football and playing tennis.
