Mrs Nicola Milburn is Clinical Vascular Scientist specialising in vascular ultrasound. She completed her BSc at Loughborough University, before achieving her accreditation at the Middlesex Hospital, one of the leading London hospitals for vascular ultrasound. She has worked at some of London's premier teaching hospitals including Royal Free Hospital and St George's Hospital. In 2010 she joined the London Vascular Service and was appointed co–director in 2014.

For a number of years Mrs Milburn was part of the Society of Vascular Technology's National Committee, primarily concerned with education. She also helped establish a nationwide course for training surgeons in the basics of vascular ultrasound.
