Ms Sally Ameen is a consultant specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She is skilled in many glaucoma procedures, including MIGS (iStent), filtration surgery, and laser therapy for glaucoma like Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT). She is the Quality and Safety Lead at the Western Eye Hospital and has a passion for education, serving as a college tutor and guiding more than 20 trainees. She is also the Secretary for the Ophthalmic division of the Royal Society of Medicine and has presented her work at numerous meetings, written two book chapters, and published in peer-reviewed journals.
