About
Mr Tsepov is an internationally recognised expert gynaecological surgeon performing robotic surgery on DaVinci Xi surgical robot for severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids and complex benign gynaecological pathology. At The London Endometriosis & Advance Pelvic Surgery, which Mr Tsepov has established, he works in close partnership with multidisciplinary robotic surgery experts. The Centre has been accredited as an endometriosis referral centre by The British Society Of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) in 2022 based on the results of a surgical and patient outcomes audit.
Mr Tsepov is a certified robotic DaVinci Xi console surgeon by Intuitive Surgical as well as by the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecology Surgeons (BIARGS). He is a robotic surgery proctor for Intuitive Surgical and teaches advanced robotic surgery techniques across UK and Europe. The London Endometriosis & Advance Pelvic Surgery led by Mr Tsepov is an observation centre for robotic surgery and provides regular training courses for surgeons.
He widely participates in major European and Global meetings dedicated to complex gynaecological surgery and endometriosis as a faculty member and invited speaker. He has received Surgical Video Competition Award by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Edinburgh UK in 2018 and Silver Video Surgery Award by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Newport, the UK in 2019. He has also performed live surgery broadcasts to several international congresses dedicated to deep infiltrating endometriosis.
In his clinical practice, Mr Tsepov widely uses traditional methods of diagnostics and treatment, as well as the latest innovative approaches and techniques recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE), British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
Mr Denis Tsepov graduated from St. Petersburg State Medical University in Russia in 1997 and completed his higher specialist training in the United Kingdom, having received a CCT in 2010 (London Deanery) after completing his final years of the specialist training program at The University College London Hospital (UCLH)
Mr Tsepov is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom (RCOG) since 2008. In addition to his UK training, he has learned and excelled in advanced surgical techniques for excisional treatment of severe endometriosis and complex gynaecological surgery in leading European Endometriosis Centres in Bordeaux and Rouen, (France), Bologna and Negrar (Italy) and Moscow (Russian Federation)
Outside his clinic, Mr Tsepov is a passionate hiker and enjoys long walks in the British and French Countryside and also fishing in northern Finland with his family and friends.
