Mr Chadwan Al Yaghchi is an innovative, experienced, and respected consultant ear, nose, and throat surgeon. He specializes in adult laryngology (medicine focusing on the voice box). He treats all throat disorders, including airway stenosis (narrowing of the windpipe), voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties. He also has a specialist interest in voice feminization surgery. Mr Al Yaghchi completed his higher surgical training in London North Thames regional rotation, where he worked at some of the most prestigious teaching hospitals in the country. These include Charing Cross, University College London, and Royal London. Mr Al Yaghchi is highly decorated. He holds a PhD in Molecular Oncology from Queen Mary's University of London, where he researched unique ways to treat head and neck cancer with oncolytic viruses as immunotherapy. He runs an active clinical research program in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He is a founding member of the British Laryngological Association, where he is the Associate Treasurer. His adult practice is part of both the National Centre for Airway Reconstruction and Imperial Complex Laryngology Service. He is an honorary consultant at The Royal Brompton and Harefield Foundation, where he treats children with complex airway and swallowing conditions.
