Mahwash Masood Babar

Ms Babar works as a full-time substantive consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Whittington Hospital in London. She sees private patients at The Harley Street Clinic

She obtained her medical qualifications and training through the London School of Surgery Specialist Training Programme and earned her MD, focusing on cancer genomics. She also has extensive experience in surgical postgraduate teaching through the Royal College of Surgeons.

Her main areas of expertise include all areas of oncoplastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic breast surgery, as well as benign and developmental breast conditions. Her NHS base for reconstructive surgery is University College and the Royal Free Hospital in London.

She is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery, the British Medical Association, and the General Medical Council.

Outside of work, Ms Babar enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She lives in Surrey and her hobbies include swimming, cycling, and countryside walks.
