Dr Helen Ferris-Baker has over 15 years experience of working within mental health, in both the NHS and private sector. Helen specialises in women’s mental health, fertility issues and work-based mental health in addition to managing issues at work, such as stress, burnout, anxiety, personality issues and relationship issues.

Helen has run behaviour change programmes, working with organisations to improve the wellbeing of their employees. She provides supervision and coaching to other clinicians and team members. As an Occupational Psychologist and Coach, she can also offer insights into work-based behaviour and organisational culture.

As a Counselling Psychologist she is trained across many different therapeutic modalities and works with clients in an integrative way; drawing on different models and ways of working to meet a client needs. When working therapeutically with a client she specialises in Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and work based models of change. Therapy is often centred on the relationship formed with clients and she works in a compassion-focused way. She provides short-medium term therapy, enabling people to get to a point where they no longer need psychological input.
