Dr Stephanie Kaye-Barrett graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1983. She qualified as a Rheumatologist in November 1996. She has over 17 years' experience as a consultant Rheumatologist. In her career to date, Dr Kaye-Barrett has been clinical lead at the Chelsea and Westminster and the medical director of the Chelsea Rheumatology Clinic. Her specialist interests include joint pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, and gout. Dr Kaye-Barrett is able to offer the latest treatments for conditions including osteoporosis and fibromyalgia. Dr Stephanie Barrett has been included in all the published Tatler's 250 top doctors guides. The latest was in 2013. She has also been elected to the Medical Advisory Board at Grayshott Spa, where she is working on a specialized recuperation programme, in conjunction with some of the top private London Hospitals. Women's' Health issues are especially important to Dr Stephanie Barrett and her female colleagues involved in this project. Dr Stephanie Barrett was also elected to Council at The Independent Doctors Federation (IDF). She lectures abroad and in the UK and is also a trained appraiser for the IDF. She was re-elected as a member of the BMA private committee in August 2013. In her spare time, she sings in a choir, paints, and enjoys traveling. Her areas of expertise include peripheral magnetic stimulation for musculoskeletal pain, injection therapies for osteoporosis, joint pain, osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, unexplained musculoskeletal pain, Raynaud's, widespread joint pain, autoimmune diseases, and hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
