Dr. Bisdas is a Consultant Neuroradiologist and MRI lead. He is Professor of Neuroradiology and Radiology at the University College London and University of Tübingen, Germany. He completed a post-doctoral scholarship in Neuroradiology research and holds an MSc degree in Advanced Oncology and a postgraduate diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His expertise includes advanced CT, intraoperative MRI, advanced and functional MRI, and molecular MR-PET imaging in brain diseases. Dr. Bisdas also performs medicolegal work on brain and spine diseases. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology, the European Society of Neuroradiology, and the British Society of Head and Neck Radiology. He has authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications and 10 book chapters. He serves as a member of the editorial board of several leading journals in Radiology and Neuroradiology and is a reviewer for leading journals in Neuroimaging. He has been awarded by British, European, and American professional bodies and the industry for his pioneering research in brain and spinal tumor imaging and has been principal and chief investigator in clinical imaging trials attracting more than £1 million in intramural and external funding.
