In addition, she heads up allergy transition services for teenagers up to 18 years of age with the goal of equipping them with the knowledge and recommendations on how to take control of their allergies. She features on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council, with dual accreditation for both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Allergy. Her areas of expertise include food allergy prevention, diagnosis and treatment, asthma, eczema, immunotherapy and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr Brough graduated with double honors in Medicine and Experimental Psychology from King’s College, Cambridge University. Following this, she undertook clinical training at the Royal Free & University College London Medical School. Dr Brough has trained in many distinguished teaching hospitals in the UK, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Dr Brough is an active researcher and has widely published in the field of Paediatric allergy in the form of research articles, textbooks and written reviews on the management and prevention of food allergies, dietary management of peanut allergy and the risks of environmental exposure to food for Paediatric patients.
