Mr Parthi Srinivasan is Consultant Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and Liver Transplant Surgeon. He is based at Kings College Hospital and The Liver Centre at London Bridge Hospital.
He graduated from the Madras Medical College, the University of Madras in 1989, before training in General Surgery in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. In 1993 he obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.
He went on to complete Higher Surgical Training as a Calman Registrar in North London. In 1993 he was appointed to King's College Hospital, London as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Liver Transplantation and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery. After successfully passing the Inter-Collegiate exit examination, he was awarded the Inter-Collegiate Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. He was appointed to the prestigious post of Consultant Surgeon of Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary, and Pancreatic Surgery in King's College Hospital in 2006.
Mr Srinivsan’s clinical interests include liver transplantation and transplantation from living donors, surgery for malignant diseases of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas. He also uses modern techniques such as Laparoscopic Surgery in the management of patients with Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary diseases. He is actively involved in clinical research particularly for include islet cell transplantation.
