Bhart Shemar is a Registered Osteopath and Medical Acupuncturist and has been practising for over a decade. He sees patients privately, including at the Institute for Sport, Exercise and Health.

He graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and during his degree, received numerous awards, including ‘Student of the Year.' He has returned to the college as a lecturer and clinical tutor, training and examining students in clinical skills and physical diagnosis.

Mr Shemar's focus is on patient education and preventative medicine and he encourages positive lifestyle changes for his patients wherever possible. Mr Shemar is also qualified as a Naturopath and he uses this knowledge alongside Osteopathy. He has further training in Medical Acupuncture and Sports/Kinesio taping.

Prior to training as an Osteopath, Mr Shemar worked as an Accident and Emergency nurse for many years, gaining experience across numerous specialties, including paediatrics, cardiology and emergency trauma.
