Sanjay Kumari is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in Royal Free London Trust, based at Barnet/Chase Farm hospital. Kumari graduated in medicine in 1992 and completed her speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various teaching hospitals in London, including University College London Hospital. Kumari has also completed advanced training in hysteroscopic surgery and is an accredited colposcopist by RCOG/BSCCP. Miss Kumari is the lead for colposcopy service at Barnet Hospital.

Kumari's special interests include menstrual disorders, fibroids, PCOS, pelvic pain, endometriosis, miscarriage, menopause, HRT, sexual health, and colposcopy/management of abnormal smears. 

Kumari also offers a variety of procedures, including open and laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery especially hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and removal of polyps. Kumari is also trained in outpatient removal of polyps using Truclear without the need for anaesthesia and hospital admission.
