Dr Roger Wolman is dually qualified as a Consultant in Rheumatologist and in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He is based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust and provides private practice in the central and north-west London areas.

Dr Wolman went to medical school at the University of Manchester. He completed his general medical training in London. He then completed specialist medical training in Rheumatology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine, also in London. During this period he spent 3 years completing a Medical Doctorate on Exercise and Osteoporosis (awarded by University of Manchester). He was also awarded a prestigious Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, which he used to study sport and exercise medicine in North America. In 1994 Dr Wolman was appointed Consultant Rheumatologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and additionally appointed Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, the first such appointment in the NHS.

He has specialist accreditation in Rheumatology, Sport & Exercise Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine.
