Dr Padraic Ryan is a Consultant in Occupational Health Medicine, providing clinical services at a number of private hospitals, including The London Bridge Hospital and in his clients’ workplaces. Hr provides strategic guidance on corporate health and performance, evaluates work-related health issues and ill health pension advice.

He graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1983 and for over 30 years, has established and held senior occupational health positions in the state sector and leading blue chip organisations, which include Aviva, Goldman Sachs, Capita, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft and Bupa. He currently works across a broad range of industries in occupational health, including the NHS, Met Police and Public Health England.

Dr Ryan was Honorary Secretary for the Society of Occupational Medicine in the UK for five years and has worked closely with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine where he was an examiner of post graduate courses and he has contributed to the advice given to government departments on the UK’s occupational health policy. He is an elected Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FFOM), a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK (MRCGP), the Royal Society of Medicine and the Independent Doctors Forum.
